Since August 2019, Dr. Massey has been proudly serving as the first female dean of the Isenberg School of Man agement, University of Massachusetts Amherst. With a background in informat ion technology, Massey is a thought leader on technology-driven innovation processes and strategies, particularly as they relate to virtual team perfo rmance. Her academic career spans five universities, with the bulk of her c areer at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. A t IU, among varied leadership roles, she developed cross-disciplinary progr ams between the School of Informatics and Computing, the College of Arts an d Sciences, the Business School, the School of Public Environmental Affairs , and the School of Law. She also co-founded the Center of Excellence for W omen in Technology, which is the nation’s first and only large-scale, inter disciplinary, university-based initiative to encourage and promote the part icipation, empowerment, and achievement of women students, faculty, staff a nd alumnae in technology. Dr. Massey has earned several awards for teaching undergraduate and graduate business students, including the Indiana Univer sity Board of Trustees’ Distinguished Teaching Award.
