Matheus TorsaniUniversity of São Paulo Medical School Dr. Matheus Belloni Torsani serves as Chief Academic Officer of the University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP), the top-ranked medical school in Latin America. He leads all academic domains of the institution, including undergraduate and graduate education, international partnerships, continuing education, research development, and faculty advancement. Dr. Torsani holds an MD and an MBA in Healthcare Management and is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Education with a focus on assessment innovation. A specialist in medical education and academic leadership, he has implemented institution-wide reforms in curricular design, digital transformation, and learning evaluation. He is a recognized young leader in Brazil’s National Academy of Medicine (Academia Nacional de Medicina) and is actively engaged in national and international academic initiatives. His experience bridges higher education policy, accreditation, and innovation in teaching and assessment—making him an advocate for evidence-based academic strategies and global collaboration among CAOs. As a Board Member of ACAO, Dr. Torsani seeks to contribute a global perspective and promote inclusive academic excellence across diverse systems of higher education. |
