I have 20 years of higher ed experience as faculty, and in a variety of senior administrative roles including VP of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation, Sr AVP of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, and currently serve as Provost at Maria College in Albany New York.

I am an early modernist with a specialty in intellectual history and Shakespeare. I have a BA in English, and an MA in Shakespeare and Cultural History and a PhD in English from the University of Birmingham, England. I have served as a peer evaluator for colleges in the UK, and most recently for Middle States as chair, vice chair and team member. I continue to teach for Oxford University, UK where I serve as Shakespeare Lead for my department.
